The current schedule for the 2025 California Invention Convention: Northern / Central Region is as follows:
11/6/24 – 1/24/25 — Teacher and School Registration
1/29/25 – Student Registration Opens 2/5/25 – Judge Registration Opens
2/12/25 – Volunteer Registration Opens
3/26/25 – Judge Registration Closes
4/2/25 – Student Registration Closes 4/2/25 – Volunteer Registration Closes
4/12/25 – California Invention Convention: Northern/Central Region 4/18/25 – Virtual Awards Show
Registration for 2025 Northern /Central California Invention Convention
Teacher Registration is Now Closed
Student Registration is Open from January 29 – April 2. Go to Student Registration for instructions and links to registration software. Judge Registration is Open from February 5 – March 26. Go to Judge Registration for instructions and links to registration software.
Event Volunteer Registration is open from February 11 – April 2. Go to Volunteer Registration for instructions and links to registration software.
Schedule for April 12, 2025
8:00 AM — 9:45 AM : Students check in and set up display boards and inventions in the Convention Hall
8:30 AM – 10:00 : Judges check in and attend judge training session
10:00 AM – 11:00 AM : Judges meet with student inventors – Only judges, students and floor monitors allowed in Convention Hall for this hour.
11:00 AM – 1:30 PM : Convention Hall is open to the public. Students are asked to stay with their inventions until 12 noon in case the judges have any further questions.
1:30 PM: Students are asked to clear their materials from the Convention Hall
