The first 2018-19 Professional Development for teachers interested in including the Invention Convention curriculum into their classrooms was held Saturday, September 22 2018 at the Santa Cruz County Office of Education in Santa Cruz, CA. Twenty teachers from 15 different elementary and middle schools in the Bay Area attended. We are exciting that the program continues to grow with this year the program is expanding into Kindergarten and 1st Grade. The program is now being implemented in grades K-8 all around California.
In addition, we will be offering a refresher webinar or zoom call for teachers who have already been trained as there have been some significant changes to the program. The changes will need to be incorporated in order for students to participate in both the 2019 California State and National Invention Conventions. Details will be posted when available.
