Lillia Young from Watsonville Charter School of the Arts, was the top winner at the 2017 California Invention Convention in early May 2017. As a result, she earned the right to travel to Washington DC and the 2017 National Invention Convention and Entrepreneur Expo. She, along with several other competitors from around the country, was chosen to participate in a video created by The New Yorker magazine.
